"His Majesty King David Joel"

Meet the King:

Shepherd, Steward, and Servant

His Majesty King David Joel of the House of Weems/Wemyss is the heir and steward of an ancient line tracing back to the House of David. Called to restore the Davidic covenant in these last days, His Majesty balances pastoral shepherding with the responsibilities of kingship.

He leads by a mandate rooted in Scripture (Amos 9:11; Jeremiah 33:17) and seeks to rebuild in dignity, justice, and mercy. This brief biography provides a public introduction; a fuller archival biography is available in the Foundational Documents library.

A Life of Service and Covenant

His Majesty King David Joel was born in Salem, Illinois, and raised in a life dedicated to law, service, and the study of covenantal history. Recognized by family lineage and prophetic testimony, he carries the dual anointing of king and shepherd (Ezekiel 37:24–28).Throughout his ministry, King David Joel has worked to restore the ancient governance structures of the House and Kingdom of David, emphasizing lawful process, ecclesiastical unity, and merciful justice. He presides over combined Ecumenical and Ecclesiastical Courts and serves as steward of foundational charters and covenants that bind the House and Kingdom of David together.

Three Pillars:

  • Justice:  Lawful process and righteous governance

  • Mercy:  Compassion and pastoral care

  • Truth:  Covenantal faithfulness and integrity

"In that day I will raise up the booth of David that is fallen and repair its breaches, and raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old." — Amos 9:11 (ESV)
