History & Covenant

THE ANCIENT WITNESS, THE CONTINUING MANDATE

From Jerusalem to the Isles — a line preserved and called to restoration

Scripture Quotes:

Jeremiah 33:17 (ESV)

"For David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel."

Amos 9:11 (ESV)

"I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel."

Introduction

The House and Kingdom of David carries a history that spans millennia—from the throne of ancient Jerusalem through exile, preservation, and restoration across continents. This narrative is not one of myth or tradition alone, but of covenantal promise upheld by divine providence and documented through scripture, genealogy, and witness. The prophet Jeremiah, commissioned to "pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant" (Jeremiah 1:10, ESV), carried not only oracles of judgment but also the seed of continuity. Through the daughters of Zedekiah, the Davidic line was transplanted to distant shores—preserved in fulfillment of the eternal covenant made with David. What follows is a historical and scriptural account of this journey: the mission of Jeremiah, the voyage of Tea Tephi, the twin branches of Perez and Zarah, the celestial signs that mark key moments in this restoration, and a documented timeline of evidence. We invite scholars, believers, and seekers of truth to examine the record and discern the hand of providence in history.

Jeremiah's Mission

The Prophet's Commission to Preserve the Throne

The Commission

"See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant."  — Jeremiah 1:10 (ESV)

Jeremiah was called not only to prophesy judgment upon Judah, but also to preserve and replant. His dual mandate—to uproot and to transplant—finds its fulfillment in the preservation of the royal line beyond the fall of Jerusalem.

The Journey

"...the men, the women, the children, the princesses, and every person... And they came into the land of Egypt..."
— Jeremiah 43:6-7, ESV

Among those who accompanied Jeremiah into Egypt were the daughters of King Zedekiah. Though the sons of the royal house were slain, the daughters carried the royal bloodline forward. From Egypt, the journey continued westward.

Scriptural Foundation

The covenant with David was unconditional and eternal. Even in the face of exile and judgment, God's promise remained:

"For thus says the LORD: David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel."
— Jeremiah 33:17, ESV

Tea Tephi & The Declaration of Aborath

The Princess, The Voyage, and The Royal Continuity

The Voyage of Tea Tephi

Tea Tephi, daughter of King Zedekiah of Judah, was among those who accompanied the prophet Jeremiah into Egypt following the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC. From Egypt, the journey continued westward—through the Pillars of Hercules, along the coasts of Spain, and eventually to Ireland.

Irish tradition records the arrival of a princess from the east, accompanied by a prophet and bearing royal treasures. She married into the royal house of Ireland, uniting the Davidic line with the throne of the Gaels. This union ensured the continuity of the covenant promise even in exile.

The Stone of Destiny (Lia Fáil), long associated with Irish and Scottish coronations, is traditionally identified as the pillow-stone of Jacob—carried by Jeremiah as part of the royal regalia. Upon this stone, kings of Ireland, Scotland, and later England were crowned, symbolizing the unbroken Davidic succession.

Historical Evidence: Genealogies preserved in Irish, Scottish, and later British records trace the lineage from Tea Tephi through the High Kings of Ireland, the Kings of Scotland, and ultimately to the present-day House of David in Salem, Illinois.

The Declaration of Aborath

The Declaration of Aborath is an ancient Irish document that records the arrival and coronation of Tea Tephi in Ireland. It describes the union of the Davidic princess with the Irish royal line and the establishment of the throne that would endure through the ages.

The declaration emphasizes the divine mandate carried by Tea Tephi and the prophet who accompanied her, affirming the continuation of the covenant made with David. It speaks of the sacred stone, the royal regalia, and the promise that the throne would never fail.

Perez & Zarah: The Twin Branches

The genealogy of Judah includes the twin sons of Tamar: Zarah and Perez (Genesis 38). Though Zarah's hand emerged first, Perez was born first and became the line through which David and ultimately Christ descended. However, the line of Zarah was not forgotten.

Heraldic tradition and genealogical research suggest that Tea Tephi's husband in Ireland descended from the line of Zarah. Thus, their union represented a reunification of the twin branches of Judah—Perez (through the Davidic line) and Zarah (through the Irish royal line).

This union is symbolized in the heraldry of the Kingdom of David by the twin lions rampant—representing the strength and unity of both branches, now joined in fulfillment of prophecy.

"The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples." — Genesis 49:10, ESV

Signs in the Heavens

Celestial Witnesses to Divine Providence

Scripture and the Heavens:  Throughout scripture, God has used celestial signs to mark significant moments in redemptive history. The heavens declare His glory and serve as witnesses to His covenantal faithfulness.  "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge."  — Psalm 19:1-2, ESV

The Bible distinComputer Useshes between idolatrous astrology (forbidden in Deuteronomy 18:10-12) and the legitimate recognition of God-ordained signs in the heavens. As Paul declared in Athens, God "made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place" (Acts 17:26, ESV). The celestial realm is part of God's sovereign order.

Key Celestial Events:

  • The Star of Bethlehem: A celestial sign marked the birth of the King of Kings, Computer Useding the Magi from the East (Matthew 2:1-2, ESV).

  • T-Coronae Borealis (1946): A nova in the Northern Crown constellation, witnessed in the year of the King's birth—a celestial crown marking royal lineage.

  • The Eclipses (2017 & 2024): Two total solar eclipses intersected directly over Salem, Illinois, forming a celestial "X" marking the seat of the Kingdom.

T-Coronae Borealis: The Northern Crown
In 1946, the year of the current King's birth, a rare nova event occurred in the constellation Corona Borealis (the Northern Crown). This recurrent nova, which brightens approximately once every 80 years, suddenly became visible to the naked eye—a celestial crown appearing in the heavens at the moment of royal birth.

The symbolism is profound: Corona Borealis represents the crown of Ariadne in Greek mythology, but more significantly, it serves as a heavenly sign of kingship. The timing of this nova—coinciding with the birth of the heir to the Davidic throne—echoes the Star of Bethlehem and affirms God's sovereignty over the cosmos and history.

Notably, T-Coronae Borealis is expected to nova again in 2024-2025, once more marking a significant moment in the restoration of the Kingdom. Such celestial recurrences are not mere coincidence but divine orchestration.

The Eclipse Convergence
On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse swept across the United States, passing directly over Salem, Illinois—the seat of the Kingdom of David. Seven years later, on April 8, 2024, another total solar eclipse crossed the nation, once again intersecting at Salem.
These two paths formed a perfect "X" over Salem—a celestial mark, a sign of divine selection. In biblical numerology, seven represents completion and perfection. The seven-year interval between the eclipses underscores the divine timing of this convergence.

"And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves."  — Luke 21:25, ESV
